Calderwood Now Chasing 2nd Spot

Swansea City lead the League 1 table and have a 14 point cushion over Forest, which according to manager Colin Calderwood should be enough to see them over the finish line and win the title.

Calderwood told the official site. 'It's very hard to see how they could drop so many points that they are reeled back in, but strange things can happen. Every time they win, they are almost taking a step and a half to promotion and if keep doing that over the next 5 or 6 games, I think it will be very hard to catch them.'

So the race is now on for 2nd spot. Doncaster currently lie in the 2nd promotion spot and sit 6 points ahead of the Reds in 4th. Rovers are only 8 points behind the Swans and may still fancy their chances, but you have to agree with CC that our chances of catching the Swans are just about nil.

Most fans at present have fears of not being able to clinch an automatic spot and are resigned to the playoffs again. For us to reach automatic promotion, we need a massive turnaround in our away form for that to happen and not many are hopeful of that.
