'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hoskins Forest Future In Doubt

On loan striker Will Hoskins may find his time at Forest has come to a premature end. The Watford frontman picked up a back injury in training and it's now thought to be more serious than they originally hoped.

Colin Calderwood told the official site. 'We need to try to find a way to get him back as quickly as possible, but at the moment we don't see a way forward and it's disappointing for him and us.'

He said that it might be that he has to return to Watford, for their medical staff to look at him. This of course brings us back to the need for a new striker again and with Tyson injured and out for a good few weeks yet, it will need to be addressed.

CC wouldn't be drawn too much on the subject, but he must be concerned. He added that. 'We have a deadline towards the end of March and will address that then. With so many games coming up we might need a body, so with that in mind we might continue looking, but we don't want to disrupt the harmony we have at the moment.'

This takes the gloss off what has otherwise been a good day for the Reds. Let's hope it's not as bad as feared and that he makes a speedy recovery.
