Commons - Title Out Of Reach

Forest midfielder Kris Commons has stated that the title race is over in his weekly diary for icons.com.

He said. 'I think we are pretty certain the title is out of reach. I can't imagine that Swansea will slip up now after the way they've been playing all season. It's just very unlikely that will happen, but the second spot is there for the taking.'

He may be slated by some fans for conceding the title, but he's only being realistic. It actually makes a change for someone at the club to be saying something different from the usual we're going to do this, that and the other and generally end up doing nowt.

He also went on to thank fans for their kind wishes following his family's bad news.
