Fans Are Losing Faith In Calderwood

In our latest poll we asked 'Is Calderwood good enough to win us promotion?' With a number of options to choose from and a month in which to vote, the answer was a resounding 'No.'

With 46% of the Vital Forest membership saying Calderwood should be sacked with immediate effect, it shows that there is very little faith in him to do the job he was brought in to do, despite the fact that there's still 13 games to go.

The poll was started at the end of January, sandwiched in between the away defeats to Swindon and Bournemouth (probably the two worst performances of the season to date). At the beginning of February, the scores on the doors were as high as 65% wanting rid immediately, but results went our way and we even went second in the table albeit briefly.

This isn't good news for CC obviously, but the discontent is set to grow the more we fall away from the automatic promotion placings. 26% still think he should be given until the end of the season, but only 18% said that they backed him completely.

The results of the poll in full are:

Yes - I back him 100%. 18%
No - Sack him with immediate effect. 46%
He should be given until the end of the season. 26%
Getting rid now will do more harm than good. 10%
