'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Today's Team News

Kris Commons fails to recover from his groin strain and Luke Chambers hasn't recovered from a dead leg for the game against Crewe at Gresty Road.

The good news is that Nathan Tyson makes the bench for the first time since damaging his hamstring. Brett Ormerod is set to make his debut, following his arrival from Preston yesterday and will partner Junior Agogo up front in a 5-3-2 formation.

With Davies replacing the injured Commons and Breckin coming back from his suspension the Reds seem to have a strong and attacking lineup.

Team: Smith, Wilson, Breckin, Morgan, Perch, Bennett, Davies, Clingan, Cohen, Ormerod, Agogo.

Subs: Lockwood, Thornhill, McGugan, Holt, Tyson.

Crewe: Williams, Woodards, McCready, O'Donnell, Boyle, Anyinsah, O'Connor, Bopp, Lunt, Pope, Moore.

Subs: Owain fon Williams, Lowe, Carrington, Abbey, Morgan.
