The Men In Black: Southend
Mr. P. W. Melin from Surrey gets the gig at Roots Hall for the game between Southend United and Nottingham Forest.
It's the first time this season that Mr. Melin has taken charge of a game involving the Reds. Last time we had the privilege of his company was in the 06/7 season in the 3-0 home win over Cheltenham. He booked four players that day, including Breckin and Perch.
So far this campaign he's taken charge of 22 games in which he's dished out 41 yellow cards and 9 red.
He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. T. Mason and Mr. G. R. Russell. The 4th official is Mr. R. P. Whitton.
