Red Is The Colour Of Success

Academics from Durham University and the University of Plymouth have apparently discovered that over the last 50 years, teams playing in Red have far greater success than their counterparts.

Apparently it's all down to our biological response to the colour and the fact that the colour Red makes us naturally more aggressive. Maybe Newcastle United should consider changing their colours, seeing as they haven't won a thing for the last 50 years.

This is a serious study, that's been published in the Journal of Sports Sciences and gives Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Forest as proof of their findings. Click here to read the article in the Shields Gazette.
