'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jones - Talking Up Cobblers

Daniel Jones is currently on loan to Northampton from Wolves and his slightly derogatory comments towards Forest, may be an attempt to curry favour with the Sixfields faithful ahead of the Good Friday showdown.

Jones told the Northampton Chronicle. 'I'd expect that if I were them, I'd fear coming here.' What Jones doesn't realise is that we fear travelling anywhere at the moment with our away record.

He does have a point though, as they haven't lost at Sixfields since November. He went on to say. 'There has got to be a fear factor about us. Look at our recent record, we are beating all the top sides. Who would have expected us to beat Walsall 2-0 at their place? We beat them and we beat them comfortably. On Saturday we smashed the top of the table team 4-2.'

Currently they sit just 2 points outside the playoffs and have reason to be confident. It will of course be a feisty fixture with the return of CC to his old stomping ground. The reception for him on Friday could be a frosty one from both sets of supporters.
