Happy Return For Calderwood

This was the second visit back to his former club Northampton for Reds boss Colin Calderwood and the second time he's come away with all 3 points.

Last season it was a slightly fortuitous 1-0 win that gave Calderwood the points, but this time round it was a hard fought and deserved win for CC and the lads.

Calderwood told the official site. 'I particularly enjoyed the opening part of the game, we played excellently. It was a big win and a huge result for us. I'm pleased with the manner in which it came, it was an all round team performance.'

The result and more importantly the manner in which it came about is what the fans have been screaming for all season. This was indeed a good all round team performance from the lads and one that will go some way to winning the fans back. There's still a long way for CC to go on that front, but the under fire manager will do well to learn from this and get a repeat performance at home on Monday against Brighton.
