Commons Out - Ormerod In

Brett Ormerod looks almost certain to be fit for the trip to Brunton Park tomorrow night, whilst Kris Commons will have a scan on his injured thigh to find out the extent of the damage.

Ormerod went off after 78 mins of the 1-0 defeat at Doncaster with his face covered in blood. He took a nasty kick in the face that needed stitches and has left the player with a lump under his eye. According to the official site, he should be fit to play against Carlisle.

The news for Kris Commons though does not sound so good. He will have a scan on the injured thigh that kept him out of the defeat to Doncaster and is likely to miss this one as well.

Well done to the Rod, showing some bottle. Once again though, Commons absent through injury - made of glass!
