'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Calderwood Praises Great Effort

Just take a look on the official site and the face of Forest manager Colin Calderwood is a picture of relief.

He's taken a lot of stick recently and deservedly so in light of the teams results, but last night's win at Brunton Park will go some way to winning us back. Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham after the game , he said. 'It was an effort of all efforts just to stay in the game because the game was dictated by the weather and the pitch. It's a superb result which lifts everyone and gives us momentum.'

What we need to do now is build on this and somehow do what we haven't been able to do all season, which is put a winning run together. Next up is two home games, starting with Cheltenham on Saturday. There's still along way to go for him to get us back on side, but a few more performances like last night will do him no harm.
