Forest To Unleash McCleary

So far Garath McCleary has been limited to just three appearances for the Reds and all of them from the bench. But with news of yet another hamstring injury to Nathan Tyson, the 20 year old hitman looks set to make his first full appearance for Forest.

McCleary got his first goal for the Reds in the 2-0 win at Carlisle on Tuesday and has impressed CC with his contributions so far.

Calderwood told the official site. 'He's a talented boy, he's smooth with the ball and can produce crosses with either foot which gives him an edge. He's similar to Kris Commons in so much that he can play both sides and he's quite good in the air as well.'

So far McCleary has only come on in games when there has been little time for him to make any difference. But he showed on Tuesday night what he can do if he is given enough time on the pitch. It's time to unleash the beast.
