'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital Forest League 1 Preview

It's another big weekend for the teams at both ends of the League 1 table, as clubs gear up for the final run in.

They could be celebrating in the Valleys tonight, if Swansea beat luckless Bournemouth and Donny lose to managerless Huddersfield. Swans manager Martinez, has told the fans that they can start dreaming of promotion now and who can blame him. You have to admit they deserve it.

Second place Carlisle take on an out of sorts Yeovil at Brunton Park and will look to get their good home form back on track after being beaten by the Reds on Tuesday night.

Southend in 5th, travel to a Crewe side that finds themselves only a point above the drop zone. This will be a tough one to call with the Railwaymen fighting for their lives. Sarfend are only a point behind us in the table, so we could do with Dario and his boys doing us a favour, just to put some distance between us. Of course we have to beat Cheltenham first.

Tranmere are clinging to the final playoff place and face a tricky trip to Walsall. They sit just 1 point above Lucky Leeds in 7th, who travel to Orient. Come on you O's!

Down at the basement, bottom club Port Vale face Brighton away and Luton travel to mid table Northampton. The Gills who have flirted with relegation all season have an important game against Millwall, who sit just 2 points and 2 places above them. All in all, it will be a big day in the division and there will undoubtebly be some movement in the table come 5pm.
