'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clueless back in the hunt for AP.

Tally Ho!!! -
From a Red`s perspective yesterday`s results have made the table look very interesting indeed. Forest have virtually guaranteed their place in the playoffs but more than that and totally out of the blue, automatic promotion is back on the table.

All three contending teams face last games capable of producing interesting and unpredictable results. Whilst Carlisle and Doncaster have already got some points in the bag - 6 and 3 respectively - Forest have their own ace in the hole: goal difference.

What it boils down to is that Forest need only to tie for second place to qualify. For instance if from the last three games we get 6 points, Donny get 3 and Carlisle get 0 we will all finish on 79 points and up we go on GD. Highly unlikely but true.

However what is within the bounds of possibility is this:
Carlisle get three points from three - losing to Sarfend (h) and Milwall (a) but beating Bournemouth.(h)
Doncaster get six points or less from three - from Orient (a) Luton (h) and Cheltenham (a)
Forest get nine points from three straight wins versus Luton (h) Hartlepool (a) and Yeovil (h) (Yes I know - four wins in a row but giving Yeovil a last game pasting to get promotion would be a moment to treasure)

It`s difficult to believe but it`s still on the cards. Could Clueless Calderwood turn out to be not only the most inept manager we`ve had down here in a while but also the luckiest? Next Saturday could provide the answer.

The eternal flame of optimism burns on - nice article though

Interesting article. Best not to think about it too much, as it will only lead to disappointment.
God Almighty
I really hope we can it would be an amazing achievement for a side that has had such dismal performances this season one correction i would like to make is that i reckon millwall will lose to carlisle and bournemouth will win seeming as they have won 5 in 6 so with a lot of luck it looks like we might just be going up (Fingers Crossed)
