Vital Weekend In League 1

This could be a decisive weekend at both ends of the table, as the battles for promotion and relegation survival heat up.

The game of the day and one that all Trickies will have an eye on, is at Brunton Park where Carlisle take on Southend. Victory for the Shrimpers will really have us thinking about automatic again, so long as we beat already relegated Luton of course.

We could also do with Donny coming unstuck, as they have what could potentially be a tough game away at dropping like a stone Leyton Orient. Lucky Leeds travel to Millwall, in what could be a bloodbath on and off the pitch. The Lions are not safe yet, but will be if they can get victory over the Lucky boys. Lucky Leeds sit in 6th and a win for them will all but see them safely to the playoffs, if Walsall fail to get a result at home to soon to be relegated Bournemouth.

Already down Port Vale have what looks like a meaningless game at Swindon and Gillingham have a must win game away at Bristol Rovers. Crewe also have a tough one and need a win at home to Cheltenham to secure survival.
