'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Calderwood - Putting The Pressure On

Nottingham Forest have somehow managed to get themselves within touching distance of an automatic promotion place following the 1-0 win at home to Luton.

Colin Calderwood told the official site. 'We've gained on the teams above us-there's no hiding that fact. We don't want to allow either Carlisle or Doncaster to fall over the line. I want us to push them all the way and make them win games to win promotion.'

With only two games left to play, Forest are only 3 points behind Carlisle in 2nd and just 1 point behind Doncaster in 3rd.

Forest may need to up their game to have any chance of doing it and will have to improve on yesterdays' performance against Luton. Calderwood admitted that the lads did not play too well.

'The effect of winning a game where we were poor in the first half and better in the second was there for all to see.'

It's definitely a long shot and we still need a lot to happen elsewhere, but there is a glimmer of hope. Let's just hope that Forest can do what they have to and hope we get a little help from the others along the way.
