You Want Sarfend In The Playoffs
In the latest Vital Forest Poll, we asked the question, 'Assuming we make the playoffs. Who would you prefer to play? 28% want Southend as our opponents in the semi finals, should we need them.
Confidence is surprisingly high though amongst the Forest faithful, as 26% actually believe we will finish in 2nd place and not need the dreaded lottery method to gain promotion.
Southend are one of the few teams we have done well against this season, having put in one of best displays in the 4-1 home win back in November. We also managed a decent 1-1 draw away last month.
Carlisle were only fancied by 11% of you, but 13% thought that Lucky Leeds were worth a shout. Revenge for the 2-1 smash and grab raid they performed at the City Ground would be sweet, particularly via the playoffs. But could our hearts take the stress?
