Reserves End Season In Style

Reserves End Season In Style

It's been a remarkable season for John Pemberton the reserve team coach and his youngsters. Last night saw them end their Pontins League season with a 4-2 home win over Port Vale.

They won the title several weeks ago with an incredible record that reads. P22, D2, L1. The only defeat suffered by them was three games before the end of the campaign and by then they already had the title in the bag.

The goals against Vale came from Sinclair 31, Thornhill 43, Bastians 65 and Moloney 76. The game also saw Arron Davies make his comeback in a Red shirt, replacing Garath McCleary for the second half.

Next up for the Champions is the Playoff Semi Final on April 30. To see a full Match report click Here.
