Reds Pair Make League 1 Team Of The Year

Kris Commons and Julian Bennett attended the PFA awards ceremony in London last night and were voted into the League 1 team of the year.

Bennett has had a great season for us and is deserving of the award. Some Forest fans though, maybe a little surprised at the inclusion of Commons. He may not have been poor this season, but he hasn't exactly pulled up any trees.

It's a prestigious award, as it's voted for by the players themselves. It's rumoured that Bennett will be awarded the Forest Player of the Year as well, which will cap off a great season for the local hero. Congrats to the pair of them.
