'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tyson - Future Uncertain

Forest striker Nathan Tyson is arguably the most prized asset at the club and only has a year left on his contract. But the Reds' hotshot says he doesn't know where his future lies.

He told Sky Sports News. 'I have a year left so as far as I am aware nothing is happening, nothing's been said. I haven't been offered a new contract, I don't know if they will. I don't know what is happening with me. I don't think anything will be said, I'm not one of the players who are up at the end of the season. I would like to get something sorted but we will just have to wait and see what league we are in.'

With the likes of Leicester and Norwich keeping an eye on things it would be in Forests' interests to get the matter sorted sooner rather than later, but with the clubs immediate future uncertain a decision on what they plan is unlikely before the season has ended. One thing is for certain, if we fail to get promotion he will be off.

All depends where we're playing our football next season. Nothing will be decided until then.

Will somebody want to splash the cash though on a player who always seems to be injured?
