Commons Wins 'Stating The Bloody Obvious Award'

Unless you live under a rock, you will now be aware of what the Reds have to do this weekend to win promotion to the Championship and equally as important, what we need to happen elsewhere.

Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham, Kris Commons wins this years award for stating the bleedin' obvious when he said. 'If we get three points and Doncaster can slip up that would be very special.'

Yes. It would indeed be 'very special.' I'd even go as far to say, it would be very, very special. In fairness to our little wing wizard and the good old BBC, they have probably had as hard a job in finding a decent news story on the Reds today as we have. So any criticism on the wee fella is unjust on my part.

Just to make this article a little more credible. Here's the form guide for the weekend game at Whaddon Road. This is the home record of Cheltenham and the away record of Donny so far this season.

Cheltenham: W9, D8, L5.

Doncaster: W9, D7, L6.
