'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Let's All Enjoy It - Calderwood

Forest manager Colin Calderwood says we should sit back and enjoy the feeling of returning to the Championship. Fans will echo those sentiments after a difficult season, for the club and fans alike.

CC says that they achieved what they wanted to, despite a few blips along the way. He told the official site. 'Everyone - not only our fans - expect Forest to Waltz through the Division and you have to confront and deal with that kind of expectancy. So when you make mistakes and lose a match you have to accept that you are going to take some criticisms until you get a chance to put it right. That's what we have done.'

Admitting that he's made mistakes will go along way with supporters, especially if he can learn from them. There's no doubting that many of us had a lack of faith in him to deliver and get the team back to winning ways after Christmas, but he certainly proved me wrong at least.

He also admits that at times it wasn't pretty to watch and that they sometimes had to grind out results. 'We all want Utopia - to play creative football, score lots of goals and win matches. It's not always like that, but at the end of the day we have got to where we want to be so let's all enjoy it.'
