Reserves On Target To Retain Trophy
Nottingham Forest Reserves beat Hartlepool Reserves 3-1 at Billingham Town's Bedford Terrace Ground this afternoon, to book their place in the Pontins League Play Off Final.
They will play the winners of the Morecambe v Manchester City game at a time and venue to be arranged. It caps off a remarkable season for John Pemberton and his side, who only lost one game throughout the entire campaign.
Goals from Thornhill, Byrne and Bastians sealed victory for the Reds. Keeper Dale Roberts made his first appearance of the season, since returning from his loan spell at Rushden and Diamonds.
