Forest Go Head To Head With Derby Over KC

Forest Go Head To Head With Derby Over KC

It now looks as so it's up to Kris Commons to decide where his future lies next season, after Sky Sports News has revealed that Forest have offered Derby's most wanted a new contract.

Commons has always stated that he's a Red through and through, which makes a move to Prideless Park all the more unthinkable for the fans. But money talks and it depends whether we match their bid.

The Rams will have cash to burn during the summer, but we're not exactly skint ourselves. Forest fans can be confident of the club mixing it with the best of them this summer, in terms of spending power. So it will be hoped that if KC does decide to jump ship and join the Premiership's worst team ever, we will have an adequate replacement.

Opinion may be divided on our match winning midfielder, but replacing him could cost upwards of £2M, so he will no doubt be offered big bucks to stay. One thing is for certain, Commons himself is in a win-win situation. One way or another he's in for a decent pay day. I just hope it's not with the Sheep.
