Calderwood - League 1 Manager Of The Month

Six wins fron seven games was enough to win Forest boss Colin Calderwood the Manager of the Month award for April/May, which caps off a great week for him and the team following automatic promotion.

It's the second time this season he's won the award, the first time was back in November. The good news about this one is that there will be no curse to worry about as there was last time, because for us the season is over.

CC told the official site. 'I remember saying when I won in November that it didn't really mean that much at that stage of the season and that any manager who wins it in either April or May would really have something to smile about.'

Calderwood also rather modestly said it wasn't all about him and that it was a team effort and that they would celebrate as a team.

He won us 19 from 21 possible points. I'd say he deserves it.
