Forest Line Up Pre Season Game With Sunderland

Forest will face Premiership Sunderland in a pre season friendly at the City Ground on Wednesday, July 30 (KO 7.45pm).

The game will see the return of former crowd favourites Roy Keane and Andy Reid. Keane left the City Ground in 1993 for Man Utd and became a legend at Old Trafford. His managerial career started with the Black Cats and he won promotion with them in his first full season with the club. He must think football management is a doddle, because in their first season back in the Premiership, they finished a credible 15th.

Andy Reid is also part of the set up at Sunderland and will hopefully play in the game that will probably be Forest's toughest test of the summer. The Reds are yet to finalise their plans for pre season, but games against Bromley, Shrewsbury and Rushden and Diamonds have been drawn up so far.
