Magpies v Forest- Friendly Date

Nottingham Forest have announced details of what will be their final pre season game of the summer, in preparation for life in the Championship.

For the second year in succession, Forest will meet nearest neighbours Notts County, at Meadow Lane. The Magpies are now managed by former Forest caretaker manager Ian McParland, who just managed to save them from relegation to the Conference.

Last season the game ended with a 2-1 victory for the Reds, but the night was spoilt by clashes between the two sets of fans. A lack of policing was one reason for it, overexuberance by a few youngsters was another. The game is scheduled for August 2, KO 3pm. Ticket prices 10 and 5 concessions.
