Forest Wait For Earnshaw Decision

According to the Derby Evening Telegraph, Forest target Robert Earnshaw will make a decision next week on whether or not to sign for the Reds.

The paper also says that Sheffield United have not made a bid for the player as first thought. Another of his former clubs Cardiff were also said to be interested, but they seem to have gone quiet all of a sudden. Earnshaw will cost £2.5M if we get him and we're also supposedly after the Rams' 19 year old defender, Lewin Nyatanga who is away with the Welsh squad at present.

Sounds to me like Earnie may be hoping other offers come in for him, let's just hope it's all sorted soon. One other tit bit from today's gossip columns is that according to the Daily Star, we have an interest in Aberdeen midfielder Barry Nicholson, but Preston and Plymouth are also keen. Could be a slow weekend folks.
