A few weeks ago, a sizeable section of the support (myself included) was calling for the head of Forest manager Colin Calderwood on a stick. But following promotion to the Championship, there's been a remarkable turnaround in opinion for the man.
In the latest Vital Forest Poll, 55% of the votes said he deserved a contract extension, with only 12% voting against.
Although he still has a year left on his current contract, he has hinted that he would like to sign up for longer. There can be no doubt that one of the most important things the club needs at present, is stability.
A small percentage (6%) said he should get an extension, but it should only be for 12 months. This would be my preferred option, because it's a big step up to the Championship, not only for the players but for the manager as well.
Results in full:
