Forest Battle Swans For Liverpool Winger

Various sources are reporting that Forest have tabled a bid of £750,000 to land the much fancied youngster Paul Anderson from Liverpool. Following message board rumours of an interest from the Reds', it now seems there is some truth in our desire to sign him.

Anderson spent much of last season on loan at the Liberty Stadium and Swansea boss Roberto Martinez is a big admirer and would like to keep him there. But he's short of the necessary funds and may have to sell a player first. He scored 10 goals for the League 1 Champions last season.

He would be a ready made replacement for the now departed Kris Commons and at only 19 years of age has a long future ahead of him. It's good to see Forest acting aggressively for a change and going straight in with a bid in an effort to secure his signature.

But don't write off the Swans just yet, because the Rams are interested in their star midfielder Ferrie Bodde. If they sell him to the Sheep, then the funds for Anderson would become available and that would put them in the box seat.

He'd be a cracking young signing. But I think I'd prefer Whittingham from Cardiff. Proven at Champs level.
God Almighty
looks a decent and young player (Y) good replacement for commons.
