Vital Forest Fan Interview: Part 1
Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?
Started following forest from as soon as I can remember I was born in Notts in 1984 I'm not sure of my first game but I always get told that 'Ol Big Ead' lifted me up when I was a baby.
I moved to Oz, but have been back a few times and funnily enough the first game I can remember was the 2-0 FA Cup victory over Plymouth in the 1994/95 season.
Q - What is your most memorable moment as a Forest fan? Good or Bad.
Probably most memorable moment was the 1991 FA Cup final. I remember watching it with my old boy and when Des scored an own goal I was too young to understand what happened but his face said it all.
Even that day I remember thinking Stuart Pearce was a legend. On a brighter note the win over Reading in the final home game of the season when Bart-Williams scored in the 91st minute to give us promotion in 1998 I think it was.
Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?
All time favourite player is easy the reason I played football, the reason I was number three and the reason I was a right footed left back.
Stuart Pearce absolute legend.
All time eleven in my time since about 1988 till now.
Crossley - basically grew up with him as keeper and lets face it he was pretty reliable.
Pearce - The one and only.
Bennett - I know I have two left backs, but he's the closest thing I've seen to Pearce and I love the fact hes a Forest man through and through.
Cooper - Quality defender shame he had that Boro clause.
Walker - apart from the untimely own goals was such an assured defender.
Stone - Another class player unfashionable but a real bulldog.
Keane - Always classed him as a scumbag after he left to my hundreds of glory hunting Man Utd mates.
Reid - He was a special player.
Collymore - Had his name on my shirt, this boy was special.
Roy - had to play 4-3-3 one of my all time favs and represented a good time for the club.
Pierre - strictly on the field. Never forget him for what he did, but 35 goals in one season.
Q - What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?
Commons (scum Judas) hatrick vs Yeading was special, Bohinens chip vs Spurs in 1994, Collymore vs Wimbledon 1994-95.
Q - Best away ground visited?
Unfortunately lived in oz for a long time now but went to the Rugby world cup final at Olympic stadium that was a great experience.
Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?
If we have the money and its not gonna put us into major debt lets do it, do we have the support depends what division we're in.
Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?
Reallistically someone like Kevin Phillips or Rob Earnshaw over a Leon Best, I just want a goal scorer a fox in a box like Van Nistelrooy (example not to sign).
Q - What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?
Last seasons end was incredible I had given up lets be fair we didn't win it Carlisle and Doncaster lost it. 6 out of 7 wins though, real great stuff. Didn't know they had it in them after we lost to Donny I thought it was all over.
Q -What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?
I think we will sign well and retain players so I expect us to be around mid table but would be surprised if we were sniffing round the playoffs. I think we have enough money to buy our way out of trouble if we find ourselves in it.
Q - Where do you sit at the City Ground?
Last time I went in the Bridgford End but if I went back would play go Brian Clough stand would be happy to be anywhere.<BR>
Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.
Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Hawkins for Miss Universe from Australia
