More Forest Transfer Rumours - Matt Oakley

Leicester City midfielder Matt Oakley is the latest in a long list of players to be linked with a move to the City Ground this summer.

According to the Daily Mirror Forest are 'set to swoop' for the 30 year old former Mutton Molester, following City's relegation to League 1.

Oakley only signed for the Foxes in January of this year from the Sheep, in a 500,000 deal, which makes a move to the City Ground seem unlikely. But, what with mad man Mandaric in charge and the clubs current demise, I suppose anything is possible.

He made 20 appearances for Leicester without scoring a goal. He's also a former England U21, with 4 caps.

Various sources are saying we are still looking at trying to sign Luton midfielder David Bell and there is a rather fanciful claim that Reading's Leroy Lita is a target for the Reds'. Not sure about Lita, but it is the silly season and we can but dream.

i think Oakley would be a good signing for you. He only left Derby due to a fallout with Jewell when he first took over so the price he went to leicester for doesnt really reflect on his ability
