Forest Confirm Pre Season Games

The Reds' have announced the dates for five of their pre season games, in preparation for our first season back in the Championship.

The dates for the games are:

July 22. Burton Albion (a). KO 7.15pm.

July 23. AFC Telford (a). KO 7.00pm.

July 28. Curzon Ashton (a). KO 7.00pm.

July 30. Sunderland (h). KO 7.45pm.

August 2, Notts County (a). KO 7pm.

The game with Burton will see us renew acquaintances with former player Nigel Clough, but the pick of the bunch will be the game with Sunderland and a meeting with Roy Keane and Andy Reid.

I have to confess, I've never heard of Curzon Ashton before, but a quick search revealed that they ply their trade in the Northern Premier League, Division 1 North. That set alarm bells ringing and the idea that we might be signing one of their players, but alas, none of their squad names seemed familiar. Curzon Ashton official website.
