Everton Pre-Season Date Confirmed

Nottingham Forest yesterday confirmed via the official site the arrangement of a pre-season game with Premiership outfit Everton. The game will take place at The City Ground on Friday 25th July (Kick-off 7:45 pm), and marks the Reds` second high-profile announcement of their pre-season plans. The club have already confirmed a friendly with Roy Keane`s Sunderland at the City Ground on July 30th.

This announcement follows confirmation of friendlies against Burton Albion, AFC Telford, Curzon Ashton, Sunderland and Notts County, and it seems the Reds` pre-season is already shaping up.

Everton finished 5th in the Premiership last season, having lost out on Champions` League qualification to Merseyside rivals Liverpool by 11 points. Nonetheless, it`s certainly a bold move by the club and could be seen as a clear indication of the direction we`re going.
