Vital Forest Fan Interview: Part 10

Vital Forest Fan Interview: Part 10

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Well I remember my first game i think it was about 1983? when we played Manchester United, I don't really remember the game that well, only a thunder bolt free kick from Johnny Metgod smashing the United keeper (Baily) in the face and giving him the biggest black eye i have ever seen. My house hold has always been a Forest zone and i have grown up with songs about Joe Baker and Ian storey-Moore. And the stories of when my uncles took the kop in the 70's.

Q - What is your most memorable moment as a Forest fan? Good or Bad.

Well the best was when we unleashed Collymore on United at the City Ground they didnt know what was happening. The roar that went up after that goal was the loudest i have ever heard at the City Ground a classic.the worst i think was the sale of Roy Keane to United we knew he would be great.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Well that would be Shilton, Pearce, Lloyd, Walkerlaws, Roy, Gemmi, Metgod, Robertson, Collymore, Birtles.

Q - What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Stuart Pearce free kick 91 cup final.

Q - Best away ground visited?

Hate to say it but Anfield, atmosphere was deafening when they was pressing for a goal.

Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

We need the money, 50,000 will make us the biggest in the East Midlands again, however let's just make the Main Stand a 25000 stand surely that's all we need i love the Trent build the side of the Bridgford End up as well.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?

Eastwood, Westwood (goalie).

Q - What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

I was delighted with the end run in, one thing you can stay for Forest fans we never have it boring!!! I thought we'd miss out again in the playoffs.

Q -What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

To get into the playoffs

Q - Where do you sit at the City Ground?

Mainly Trent End lower.

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Anna Kournikova.
