Holt Finalises Shrews Move

Holt Finalises Shrews Move

Shrewsbury Town today unveiled Forest striker Grant Holt as their record signing for £170,000. The 27-year-old has scored 24 goals in 109 appearances since arriving at the City Ground from Rochdale for £300,000 in January 2006.

Holt was voted Player of the Year in 2006, but this season has been on the sidelines for most of it. He spent the end of the campaign with Blackpool on loan.

Speaking to the BBC Radio Shropshire. 'It puts a bit of pressure on me,' I've got to prove to people I'm worth it.'

Good luck to him, he should get a hatful of goals in League 2.
