Forest Capture Anderson Ahead Of Swansea And Derby

Great news from the official site today, as Forest announce the signing of Paul Anderson.

The Reds' beat The Sheep and Swansea to land the young Liverpool starlet on a season long loan deal.

Anderson scored 8 goals in 27 appearances in his year long loan spell at Swansea and all from midfield. Anderson was also voted the Swansea Young Player of the Year. He's a versatile player, who can also play on the wing.

Vital Forest think that this could be one of the best signings the club makes this summer and shows that following the signing of Robert Earnshaw for 2.65M, the club is serious about being a contender in next seasons' Championship. The news is all the sweeter, because of comments made by Swans boss Roberto Martinez earlier this week, when he said that the player was set to re-sign for them. Well done Forest and welcome to the City Ground Paul Anderson.
