Forest Transfer Gossip - Stephen Clemence

Leicester City midfielder and club captain Stephen Clemence is being linked with a 500,000 move to the City Ground.

The News of the World claims that Calderwood will offer him the Forest captaincy in an effort to land the 30 year old.

We were linked with a move for him last summer before he joined the Foxes from Birmingham in a 750,000 deal. His first ever goal for Leicester, was rather ironically against us earlier this season in the 3-2 Carling Cup defeat. Although he finished the season injured and the Foxes were relegated, he is one of the better players at the club. In 31 appearances last season, he scored twice.
