'If It's Football, It's Vital'

High Praise For The Moose

Nottingham Forest have been busy this summer in the transfer market and have made big name signings in Robert Earnshaw and Andrew Cole, but neither of them despite their reputations have made quite the same impact as 23 year old Frenchman Guy Moussi.

The midfielder has not only become an instant hit on the terraces, he's made a big impression on manager Colin Calderwood, who says he's been impressed with his attitude since arriving from SCO Angers.

Calderwood told BBC Radio Nottingham. 'He could be a vital component to us. He certainly looks as if he might improve us in the midfield area. I think we'll see a real benefit having Guy at the club. He's a terrific boy; it's fantastic how he very quickly he learns the practices and the rules. He's learning English two or three times a week at the club, he's really settled in incredibly well. As a man and an individual, he's a joy to work with.'

The 6ft,1 midfielder has won the hearts of the fans already with his no nonsense style and ability on the ball. For a big fella, he has no shortage of skill and looks very comfortable on the ball, with a good eye for a pass. He's got a very bright future ahead of him, Vital Forest wish him continued success.
