'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Men In Black: Reading

Mr. S. B. Attwell from sunny Warwickshire gets the gig for the Forest v Reading game at the City Ground on Sunday. I hope he's booked an appointment with his hairdresser, in readiness for the Sky TV cameras that will be screening the game live and scrutinising his performance. KO. 1.15pm.

Last season was Mr. Attwell's first full season as a Football League Referee and such is his growing reputation in the game, that he was handed the Wembley Playoff Final between Stockport and Rochdale.

He's never had the privilege of officiating a game involving the Reds', so be sure to give him a warm welcome (we'll need all the help we can get). Last season he took charge of 32 games, in which he dished out 52 Yellow cards and 9 Red.

Mr. Attwell will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. M. Murphy and Mr. R. Pollock. The 4th official is Mr. A. Wiley.
