Let The Games Begin - It's Time For The Big KO

First up and game of the day in the Championship, is Birmingham City v Sheffield Utd. Last season's former Premiership stars Birmingham, entertain Kevin Blackwell's Sheffield United at St. Andrews.

Brum boss Alex McLeish, will be under more pressure than most to deliver an instant return to the Promised Land of the Premiership and has a tough start against a United side that will also be amongst the chasing pack this year.

Porn star Paul Jewell will go in search of his first League win as manager of the hapless Sheep, as they take on promoted Donny Rovers. Rovers wont be the pushovers that many Sheep lovers think. Donny boss Sean O'Driscoll, has a well organised and decent side ready for the season ahead. Defeat for the Rams will put us all in a good mood and will surely lead to calls for the Porn Stars head on a stick after only one game. Come on Donny!

Cardiff have a tough opener at home to cash strapped Southampton. The Bluebirds lost star man Arron Ramsey to Arsenal in the summer, but did get £5.5m for him to soften the blow of losing him. At Selhurst Park, Neil Warnock and his hatchet men take on Watford. Both these sides will be up there this year and both will fancy their chances of success.

Forest of course KO on Sunday at 1.15pm against Reading, a game being screened live by Sky TV. You can see a full list of the weekend's fixtures by clicking HERE
