Scan Gives The All Clear To Earnshaw

Forest fans feared the worst at the weekend when striker Robert Earnshaw limped off the pitch with a suspected hamstring injury. But a scan on his injury reveals that we were all worrying over nothing.

Earnie was today given the all clear and has even been given permission to join up with the Welsh international squad for their two upcoming World Cup Qualifying games.

From a supporters perspective, I'd rather he gave the Welsh games a miss. The international break for club sides is a welcome one for players and gives those with niggling knocks and strains the time to rest and hopefully get over them.

The last thing we need is for Earnshaw to get crocked and it may prove a risky move in allowing him to play. He is clearly keen to win back his international place and you can't blame him for that. But what price will it come at if he is sidelined due to aggravating his current problem?
