Earnie - Couldn't Get Away From Derby Quick Enough

Forest striker Robert Earnshaw has made an immediate impact since his £2.65M move from arch rivals Derbynil in the summer and says his time at the club has given him a new lease of life.

His Forest career has got off to a flying start, with 5 goals in 8 appearances to date. That's in stark contrast to his time at the Sheepdip, where he bagged a miserable 1 goal in 22 appearances. He admits that his time with the Premierships worst ever club was the worst time of his career so far and that he's loving his spell with the Reds'.

Earnie told The Daily Mirror. I wanted to move after the first few months at Derby - I couldn't get away quickly enough. It was about finding the perfect club and I'm enjoying it so much at Forest. I'm loving playing for this club and have forgotten about everything else. The reason I have got a few goals is because the manager has put me out there in the first place. It gives you confidence when somebody shows faith in you.'

Rams boss and porn star Paul Jewell comes in for some stick from Earnie, as he accuses him of having no faith in his ability. His time on Trentside has seen a remarkable turnaround in fortunes, as he's not only rediscovered his goalscoring touch again, but he's also won his place back in the Welsh side. Hopefully his good form continues and he can fire us up the table.
