Forest In Loan Move For Carl Fletcher

It seems that one way or another Forest are determined to grab at least one midfielder from Championship rivals Crystal Palace. After being snubbed by Greedy Ben Watson, it now seems we've turned our interests to Carl Fletcher.

Fletcher has been placed on the transfer list by manager Neil Warnock and is viewed as surplus to requirements at the Eagles. According to this report in the South London Press, we've made a move for him.

Fletcher is a defensive midfielder and not in the same mould, or even the same league as Watson. The move for him may be because the injury to Guy Moussi is worse than feared, the club have been worryingly quiet on that front. Fletcher is a Welsh international and has been at Palace since 2006. He's made 68 appearances and scored 4 goals.

I think that you are right with the Moussi injury - the silence at the CG is deafening!
