Forest Need Loan Signings Urgently

Things look to be going from bad to worse for our under fire manager. Not only does it look as though Calderwood has a fresh batch of injuries to contend with, but the loan window closes on Thursday.

If CC doesn't know it, he really needs to look sharp if he wants to stay in the City Ground hot seat for much longer. He's lost the services of on loan midfielder Carl Fletcher, as well as striker Robert Earnshaw in the short term.

Our squad was always paper thin and any injuries were going to hit us hard, but once again the club seems under prepared to deal with it. Hopefully the club is working overtime to ensure replacements come in before the deadline on Thursday. If not, our position at the bottom of the table will become impossible to rectify.

The situation at the club at present is becoming laughable and they run the risk of a fans backlash if a victory isn't forthcoming tonight at Doncaster. Defeat will be bad enough, but if the squad is not added to by the weekend, fans will let the hierarchy of the club know their feelings at the home game against Barnsley on Saturday. The clock is a ticking fellas.

Fletcher's loan ended on Friday - day after the loan window shuts, so this may be a wise move to send him back early to allow the numbers to be bolstered?
