Calderwood Still In Charge....For Now

The future of Forest boss Colin Calderwood is the only topic of conversation amongst Forest supporters today and rumours of his successor are plenty, but there's still no word from the club on the matter, by way of confirmation or denial.

According to reports in the early editions of the Nottingham Evening Post, Calderwood was at the ground today to take charge of training. He's even said to be attending the weekend's prematch press conference this lunchtime, that should be fun.

As usual the club is keeping fans in the dark about what's going on. They at least owe it to CC to come out and either back him, or sack him. They at least owe the man himself that much respect.

The latest rumour to be doing the rounds is that Sam Allardyce has turned us down and former Sheepshagger Billy Davies is to take control instead. I personally hope the latter is a windup, as he would only be a Calderwood clone. Let's not forget the wonderful job he did at Prideless Park, where he won them promotion to the Premier League, only for them to become a laughing stock the world over. He should fit right in here then.
