Defeat against Barnsley today could bring down the curtains on Colin Calderwood's Nottingham Forest managerial career, but if that should happen there's a job waiting for him to walk straight into at Swindon.
Calderwood is a former defender with the Robins and is highly thought of. Swindon parted company with Maurice Malpas earlier this month and Chairman Andrew Fitton has already hinted that Calderwood would be top of his wish list, should he become available.
According to the Western Daily Press, Swindon have already been given permiission to hold talks with an unnamed man. That person is believed to be Calderwood. Whilst that news might bring dancing in the streets of Nottingham, it could end abruptly with the expected appointment of Billy Davies as his replacement.
