'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lee Martin Has No Forest Future

Manchester United on loan winger Lee Martin, will not be staying at the City Ground after his stint with us ends at the end of this month.

According to the BBC, he will return to Old Trafford after the Norwich game on December 28. Martin made 14 appearances for the Reds' and scored once, in the 3-2 home win over Watford.

Opinion on Martin was split. Although he had bags of pace and skill to burn, he was an infuriating player to watch at times and could go missing for long spells in games when the going got tough. There have been rumours of late that Swansea are keen to have him. Regardless of where he ends up, I'd wish him well. He has the potential to be a very exciting young player. Shame it never worked out here.
