Former Motherwell, Preston and Derby County manager Billy Davies, has today been announced as the new manager of Nottingham Forest.

Davies takes over at the City Ground after Colin Calderwood was sacked on Boxing Day. Also joining Davies, will be David Kelly as Assistant Manager. They were both together at Derby before leaving 12 months ago.

The official site has confirmed that he arrives on a three and a half year contract and will start work on Monday. Reserve team manager John Pemberton, will be in charge of team affairs, for the FA Cup game at Manchester City on Saturday. Welcome to Nottingham Mr. Davies.
