McGugan and Earnshaw - Going Nowhere

It makes a pleasant change for NFFC to come out and for once counteract claims of player departures. Rumours of McGugan and Earnshaw departing, quickly spread yesterday, but Davies has come out and rubbished the stories.

He told BBC Radio Nottingham. "There's no chance of us at this moment in time even considering any player leaving - the squad's not big enough. The players have been working very hard and are still being assessed. Any rumour or speculation about any player leaving this club is utter nonsense as far as I'm concerned."

Glad to hear it and he's right. The squad is paper thin as it is and the thought of either leaving was hard to understand, even at £3M for Earnie, we'd have been hard pushed to replace him. As for McG going to the Sheep.......enough said.
